Guy Mason Non-Executive Director

Guy Mason has been appointed Non-Executive Board Member of Daemon Solutions, a thriving IT consultancy with a reputation for deep technical expertise and a straightforward customer-centric delivery style.

With a track record in both Consulting and Global IT leadership, his experience covers Consumer, Retail and Distribution. Having been a CIO of a number of companies including TNT Express and DB Schenker Rail, Guy has been brought in to provide advice on growing the consultancy services, developing the product thinking and connecting Daemon to a wider Customer base. Guy’s broad experience, particularly in Transport and Distribution, will complement the Retail and Financial Services expertise of Daemon.

Daemon’s co-founders, Steve Bennett and Calum Fitzgerald explained the reasons behind the company’s success and their new appointment “What makes us different is the combination of our dynamic technical skills plus our ability to understand how technology can impact and improve processes to make IT relevant to real businesses.” “It’s not just about getting companies through a crisis – although we’re very good at that too - it’s more about showing clients how using the latest technologies can future-proof their organisation, add real value to their company and give them a competitive advantage.” “Guy will add a new dimension through his combination of client-side experience and consulting and sector knowledge, which will benefit both clients and Daemon as the business continues to grow.”

Speaking of his appointment Guy Mason said: “I’m delighted to become part of Daemon Solutions. My experience of Daemon as a customer convinced me of the quality of team, and their combination of strategic thinking and excellence in execution makes joining a real pleasure. I have seen first-hand the value that Daemon brings to clients.”

Guy Mason appointed August 2017 “IT services businesses succeed on the basis of their people and processes. Daemon’s team is of the highest calibre, and the Daemon processes ensure that the best skills are attracted, retained and developed for the benefit of clients. This, allied to the combination of a strategic thinking and a delivery mindset, makes the Daemon proposition particularly attractive and value creating. I know from experience that working with Daemon delivers real returns for clients. With my sector experience and client relationships, being part of Daemon’s development journey and growth over the coming years will be a real privilege.”
