Daemon Solutions Annual Charity Day 2017

Friday 26th May saw our second annual charity day. We were delighted to go back to help out our friends at St Christopher’s Fellowship – a charity that provides accommodation & support to many vulnerable children across the capital and beyond. This year we found ourselves at one of St Christopher’s ‘Safe Care’ houses – a home that looks after girls aged 12 to 18 who find themselves at risk from sexual exploitation, gang behaviour or substance misuse. We were charged with tidying up the front & back gardens and doing some general ‘handy man tasks’ around the building. Outside, we proceeded to snip, trim, cut, chop, dig & overhaul the beautiful gardens for the children to enjoy more. We cleared out the children’s growing boxes to encourage them to have a go at ‘growing their own’, we cut back a really overgrown patch at the end of the garden which will allow the children to have a lot more space to enjoy and generally gave the outdoor space a spruce up … all this in what turned out to be a ridiculously hot day! Indoors, landings were painted, notice boards were put up & bannisters were glossed. At the end of day, we were pleased with our efforts and hope that the children will be delighted also. Thanks once again to St Christopher’s Fellowship for allowing us to do our annual charity day with them – we are thrilled to be able to help them out.
